Having his licenses in the three major mechanical trades allows him to take care of all your HVAC, Boiler, and Plumbing needs. Tim started turning wrenches in 1977 in the US Navy, working on the missile guidance systems. This gave him a strong electrical background which has been very helpful in the HVAC trade. While on board the ship, the fellow who took care of the HVAC and Refrigeration systems educated him about the Trade. Five months after he was discharged, he was in HVAC school. Tim spent his first 8 years in the refrigeration part of the trade and the following years working with the mechanical contracting aspects. Working on everything from a 1-ton unit to a 75-ton chiller, and a 40-gallon water heater to a 10,000,000 BTU boiler.
Over his 41-year career, he has worked in the service field as well as in facilities. He has been exposed to many aspects of the HVAC trade. For the past 26 years, he has also been an adjunct HVAC instructor for Bluegrass Community Technical College. Tim holds an HVAC Journeyman and Master License, as well as a Boiler Contractor’s License.
Chad comes to Hubbard Mechanical with years of experience in the HVAC industry. He started in the trade in 2009 and became a Journeyman HVAC Technician in 2011. He is incredibly knowledgeable on all areas of HVAC equipment including Geothermal systems, Mini Splits, Heat Pumps, furnaces and Air Conditioning systems. If you have an issue, he will definitely point you in the right direction! In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family on and off the sport fields as well as coaching various youth sport teams.
Curtis started with us as a working student during his senior year in high school through a program with the Bourbon County Co-Op. He’s a very hard worker and quick study, who really enjoys commercial jobsites and the large complex machinery that comes with them. Aside from studying and learning the trade, Curtis spends his time fishing and collecting hats. We’re excited to have Curtis on our team and can’t wait to build upon the mechanical skill and education base his dad and former schoolteachers have molded for him.
Eddie joins the Hubbard team from Mt. Sterling, where he lives with his wife and two wonderful kids. For the past 18 years he has worked in the service industry. The last 10 of those years he’s been perfecting his skills in the HVAC trade. He thoroughly enjoys the problem solving and “fixing” aspect of this industry, but his favorite part of the job is meeting new and interesting people as they allow him to work in their homes and businesses. Like many other Kentuckians, he loves Kentucky Football & Basketball. In his own words, “you can never go wrong with a good movie”, so watch out if you ever end up playing movie trivia with this guy!
In September of 2023, Emma began her journey by enrolling in HVAC school. Shortly after, she began working at Hubbard Mechanical. After graduating from Bourbon County High School, Justin decided to start his journey into the world of plumbing. For him, the best part about being involved in a trade like plumbing is how it not only keeps you busy physically but it also challenges you mentally and allows Justin to help other people within the community. When he’s not busy working, he enjoys finding time to fish and spend quality time with his niece and nephews.
As a lifetime resident Bourbon County with a devotion to service, Melanie was eager to join our team and continue our tradition of excellent customer service. As our dispatcher, she’s on the frontline for customer service. When you call our office, you’ll most likely speak with her before anyone else. She’ll help schedule your appointment and answer your questions. If she doesn’t have an answer for you right away, she will find one! She’ll be sure to match your need with the right technician, making sure your HVAC and plumbing problems get resolved. In her free time, she loves spending time with her children and cheering them on at their extracurricular events.
Natalie Norwood is Hubbard Mechanical’s Office & Social Media Manager. She manages our daily operations as well as our social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram & YouTube). Though she primarily only schedules commercial services, she can also help get you on the schedule for a quote or residential service as needed. When not in the office, she enjoys participating in AKC events with her dog, spending time at the barn with her horse, or hanging out at home with her real-life pet rabbit!

Owen has been working in the HVAC industry since 2021. While in high school, he attended the Building Institute of Central KY’s HVAC school, which allowed him to obtain his Journeyman’s license prior to his high school diploma. He’s an avid learner and enjoys sharpening his skills by also learning some of the other trades. In his free time, he likes to fabricate, mobile weld, and work on anything from lawnmowers to bulldozers. He jokingly tells us at the office “I can weld anything from the crack of dawn to a broken heart”.
Richard Moyers has been such an amazing addition to the Hubbard Mechanical family. He has been in the HVAC trade since 2008, and received his Journeyman’s license in 2010. Richard is a wonderful technician with an amazing talent for Residential HVAC systems. If your system is not working it’s best and need to be serviced, Richard is the guy! He will give the honest truth and help you make a decision with as much information as possible. When not at work he enjoys spending his time on his motorcycle or at the lake with good friends.
Having obtained both the HVAC Journeyman and Master licenses, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge to the table. He’s worked in the industry since 2014, starting his career as an install technician, and has now transferred into a more administrative role. One of his ongoing projects, which started in 2022, is teaching HVAC classes at one of the local trade schools. For Hubbard Mechanical, Sam uses his knowledge and experience to help homeowners design HVAC solutions that will best meet their needs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending local social events, and embracing his role as an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan.
Stephanie Hubbard is our Human Resources and Finance Manager. She is also a licensed HVAC apprentice and enjoys getting out of the office to learn the HVAC trade, though there’s rarely enough time in the day for that. Stephanie is the best person to talk with if you have any questions about how Hubbard Mechanical can serve you. Outside of work, she likes spending time on the farm with her family and all their animals. She loves art and enjoys making pieces from reclaimed barn wood as well as working in her greenhouse.
